Weatherization Program
CEC is pleased to offer a residential weatherization program to our members with older, electrically heated homes. This program can help owners of electrically heated homes improve efficiency, control heating costs, increase comfort levels AND receive a cash discount to help offset the cost of the energy improvements.
Eligibility
Owners of site-built electrically heated homes, constructed before 1992, and all manufactured homes are eligible. The Oregon Building Code required site-built homes built after 1992 to be weatherized at the time of construction.
How much is the discount?
| $ 4.00 | per square foot of window area to replace wood, or metal, framed windows. |
| $ 0.25 | per square foot of ceiling insulated. |
| $ 0.50 | per square foot of floor insulated. |
| $ 0.50 | per square foot of wall insulated. |
| $400.00 | per heating system for duct sealing. |
