Electric Water Heater Program

Central Electric's electric water heater rebate program pays you $25 cash if you buy a new, approved energy-efficient electric water heater.

Electric Water Heater Requirements

• Must be installed within CEC's service territory.
• Must have a capacity of 120 gallons or less.
• Must meet or exceed minimum energy factor requirements, please see specifications below:

Minimum Energy Factor Requirements

Tank Size		Minimum Energy Factor
50 -	59 gallons	0.93
60 -	120 gallons	0.91

Note: It's not likely that all electric water heaters in your dealer's inventory meet these specifications. To check on a water heater's eligibility, ask your dealer or call Central Electric before purchasing.
