Commercial / Industrial Lighting Program
CEC is teaming up with the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) to offer rebates to non-residential customers if they improve their lighting systems. Lighting is typically a large part of the electric bill for commercial buildings and BPA rebates, along with potential State tax credits, can really improve a business’s bottom line.
Eligibility
Owners of buildings served by CEC that are not on a residential rate schedule are eligible. This typically includes businesses, schools, churches, manufacturing facilities, and government agencies.
How much are the rebates?
Rebate amounts vary with the existing and proposed lighting equipment but the rebate will not exceed 70% of the total installed job cost. Click here for a listing of rebates for new, or existing, buildings.
How do I participate?
That’s easy. Just call us and tell us you want to sign up for the Commercial / Industrial Lighting Program. We’ll get your request to a trained lighting energy analyst and they will contact you to evaluate your system to see how much it can be improved. The energy analyst will also instruct you on how to work through the program and get your rebates.
Please note: This is a Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) energy efficiency program. BPA programs are subject to change without notice.
